July and Aug. 2011

I want to get better with writing on my blog.  Especially when I have things going on and want to write all about it.  First things first, We are now living in Pocatello Idaho.  We moved here at the end on May. This is where Bry. is continuing his education.  Well continuing in a non-school way.  He is doing his residency here. Since we have been here we took a two week vacation to his graduation in Des Moines.  We visited Nauvoo, IL, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devils Tower, Yellowstone and I am sure a couple other places along the way. It was a really fun trip.  Of course fun trips go by way too fast. Couple weeks after we went camping with Bry. residency.  A way to get to know the others in the program.  E had a blast getting dirty and running everywhere.  The only bad thing was I had never been so cold sleeping.  E ended up sleeping with us because it was so cold.  We only stayed one night it was to be a two night camp trip. Shhhh don't tell anyone but it was good to meet all the residents and their spouses. 
We went on a second camping trip this time to Fish Lake with Bry side of the family. It was the first time we have gone up for a full week.  It was relaxing, fun and man did E know how to find the puddles.  It rained almost everyday, which I guess kept the dust down but man was it muddy.  I almost didn't have enough change of clothes for E.  On the plus side E had a blast.  So much space to go and so many cousins to watch her.  Yes it was nice for me to.
E. and I have been going to the Pocatello Zoo for story time once a week.  We have also been to four parades in the past two months.  The 4th of July, the 24th of July (which they celebrate mostly in Utah for the pioneers, but they do celebrate here) The Indian reservation had a parade and Chubbuck had celebration which included a parade. There is one more parade I am thinking on going to.  She has gotten so much candy from these parades that of course we are helping her eat.  So going to one more means more candy, Ok I guess we'll go.
So I think that is the summed up version of our summer.  We had a great time and again it does fly when you are having fun.  Poor E is going to be bored in the winter when we are stuck inside, oh wait poor me she is going to drive me crazy being stuck inside.  I guess I will have to find some indoor activities to do.
