There has been a lot going on. I will try to go in order of events but I may stray.
Well the month of April started out with us visiting Bry's family. It was E's first long car ride and she did wonderful. It was a tad long and she started getting tired of always being in the car seat but she did it. It was an 11 hour drive. It was well worth it because she had the whole family (minus one uncle) there to play with.(well play the best she could at 3 months.) She had dad help her roll Easter eggs down the hill, he helped her pick up her Easter at Grandma O. and of course he helped her eat all the candy. OK I guess I had some to but it was rationed. Can't tell if she really liked to do the outdoor stuff because we had to be bundled but I know she loved being held by everyone. We spent 4 days there and came home for a small break Bry going back to work/school and us getting ready for our next trip.
E. had her first airplane ride. She did great, was only fussy once and had to nurse but other than that I tried to keep her binky in her mouth as much as possible to compensate for the air pressure of taking off and landing. We spent most of our time in Carson. We saw many of Grandma's tennis friends and did a lot of shopping. On nice days we would go up to Tahoe and visit some friends that I grew up with. Many have moved out of town but I still have some very good friends still there. It was a great time because they got to witness one of E's many milestones. She rolled for the first time from her back to her front. They were very excited to see it but we were all sad that Bry didn't get to see it in person so I did my best to video tape it and post it so he could see it. Of course now we can't keep her on her back she always rolls to her front which I find funny because I use to do belly time with her and she would just cry until she learned to roll off her belly then bye bye to belly time. Now she cracks me up because she will roll to her stomach, play for a little bit and then would cry. Its almost like she forgot how to roll off. Anyways, it was still cold there in Tahoe so we didn't stay outside for long periods of time, just enough to get pictures so I can show her first trip to beautiful Lake Tahoe. Also because when ever I am in town I like to get pictures. Its funny you would think I was a tourist, not someone who grew up there. The great thing I love is the nature part of Tahoe it hasn't changed and it is always beautiful. The town itself has changed so much it is hardly recognizable. Well the ten days went by so fast before we knew it, we were back on the plane heading back to Casper.
Since we have been back our main goal is to get back onto a schedule. I think we are finally there. She has been such a great baby. So content on going anywhere I go. I thought she wouldn't like coming home because there isn't as many people here to hold her and give her around the clock attention, but she does well and actually loves being on the ground now that she can roll around. She is now 4 months and it is hard to believe it has been that long since I had her. Dad is glad to have us back even though I think secretly he loved getting a good night sleep with out any interruptions, but he has had a great time holding her whenever he can.
I am looking forward to summer coming because obviously spring doesn't want to warm up. I want to go outside and take walks. But for now we will take advantage of our down time and enjoy our little girl non-mobile because time will be going fast and she will be crawling before we know it.

My Sister-in-law took some pictures of E when they came to visit. The above are some edited pictures she took.E in her Blessing dress.
This month has been a busy month. We Blessed E at the beginning of the month and some of Bry's family came and stayed with us for the weekend. It was a tight fit in our small apt. but we managed. It was tons of fun to have them here. The boys played video games while the girls shopped and of course Grandma made sure E was held at all times. I also threw my first baby shower, with some help and I think it turned out pretty good for my first time. I use E's name so much that I think I am going to abbreviate it to E. We will see if it sticks. E. is growing so much. She is now 11 weeks. She focuses on us, smiles tons and now is making talking noises. It is so much fun to get her to smile. She is also developing a personality which is fun most of the time. We also call her our little drama queen because when she wants something she has quite the pout.
I am so excited that the weather is starting to get a little better. We got some snow yesterday but it is already melting and it is suppose to snow one more time this week and then get up to the 60's. It is so much more fun to go out when it is warm and I want to take more walks.

E was so good at church. Of course it helped that she slept most of the time. I am not sure if her outfit matched but I wanted her to wear her camouflage dress. But I had this sweater, booties, and bonnet that my moms cousin made. It is a pattern from my great grandmother. Who got these patterns from various people and books and has made them for much of my family. What I love about this outfit is not many kids wear bonnets. She just looks so old fashion, not to mention so cute with the bonnet on. I think her favorite part of the outfit was the ties, because she kept trying to suck on them.
Tomorrow she will be 8 weeks old. She is starting to stay awake more in the day and her neck muscles are getting stronger when she is on her belly. I still can't get her to push up on her hands. I don't know at what age they start developing that. When she does get on her belly, the first thing she does is stick her hand in her mouth. The other day I put her on her belly and she screamed the whole time. I couldn't understand why because she is getting better on her belly and doesn't scream as much. When I picked her up I realized why! Her hand was stuck in her shirt. She couldn't get it to her mouth. The funny thing is she has another hand but she only goes for the one.
Today the home nurse came and weighed her. She is 9lbs 10 oz. She says that she hasn't gained as much as she should, but because she is happy and peeing she is not worried. She is a very happy baby and so I really don't know what more to do. We do have an appointment with the Dr. next week and so I am sure if it is a big problem he will give advice.

E has gone to her first play. Some of the young women in my church were in the play "Grease." I was going to go with a friend in the young women presidency but she was unable to go so I ask Bry if he would like to. We both love plays and so I knew he would agree, so we bought her ticket. Of course E would go with us. I am not ready to ask for a babysitter. She did really good. She slept most the time. She did get startled a couple of times because it would be quite and then a song would start or they would yell. I thought she would be interested in the lights but she really didn't care. As for the play. It was really good. They have some good talent and good voices at the school. The only thing I was disappointed in was one of the songs that was different, it wasn't in the movie. It was called "moon" and apparently one of the boys was good at mooning and so throughout the song they would grab each others rear ends. It was funny but maybe not appropriate for high school students to do. I guess I don't remember plays like that when we were in high school or maybe it is because I now have a daughter and I would not like her to play that role. They also had some fake cigarettes. I guess I found it funny that we live in Wyoming where we have commercials and billboards about drugs and they have these high school students pretending to smoke. Don't get me wrong I know that it is in the movie and I love the movie but they could have done with out the cigarettes. I don't think I would have noticed that detail gone.
I was sad that I forgot to take my camera to the play to take a picture of her but I guess there will be other opportunities. She will be going to church for the first time tomorrow and the following weekend she will be blessed. We are so excited. I am making her a blessing blanket. Hopefully it will be done by next Sunday. I am getting excited to be doing more with E. I know it is winter and so there is not much to do but I do want to show her off. I just hope we are not exposing her to early and she ends up getting sick. She is doing so well sleeping at night and she is such a happy baby I don't want to see her sick, but I guess no mother wants to see their child sick. So we will see how it goes. I guess she has to get exposed sometime.
